Due to the number of requests for assistance and valuation via email, LionGate Arms & Armour now offers two forms of appraisal.
Formal Appraisal: The formal appraisal is a detailed written appraisal of the item including an analysis of value. Formal appraisals may require for the item to be shipped to us for inspection, and cost $100-$200 depending upon the research required, plus the cost of postage both ways.
Informal Appraisal: Informal appraisals will be offered from photos sent either via email or post, and will include a document indicating identification and origin of the item, the approximate date of manufacture, and an opinion of current market value. Informal appraisals cost $25.
