A beautiful silver-mounted dirk of traditional blackwood, with silver studs and attractive amber cairngorms. Blade with scalloped back and piercings in the fuller. Two-pronged by-fork. Missing a few studs, leather showing age-wear, silver collar at throat of by-fork slightly loose. Blade approx. 5 3/8" with a couple of minor dark spots and a good deal of scuffing from sharpening. Measures 11 1/4" overall in sheath. Overall GC, and an honest and attractive piece of Scottish history.
