An early 19th century sword cane with wooden shaft covered in lacquered leather. The handle consisting of two colors of horn with mother-of-pearl pommel inset inscribed “C. G. Beach from R. B.” Brass throat and toe. Narrow blade with wide fuller, bearing traces of blue and gilt with etched decorative floral elements. Overall GC; horn grip with minor age cracks and an old repair. Overall in sheath 88.5 cm, blade 41.5 cm.
