A wonderful mounted wakizashi with ubu one ana mumei nakago. The big slab-sided hirazukuri blade is in old faded polish and displays a very active Shoshu style hada and irregular suguha hamon. The habaki is covered in fine silver foil. The koshirae is very beautiful with the restored saya finished in Japanese ishimi textured black lacquer. The old Higo style iron tsuba has a fine dark shakudo rim and two matching gold foil seppa are included. The tsuka has a fine old same and black ito wrap. The original Goto style fuchi/kashira are a matched pair crafted in shakudo with the inlaid design of turnips with fine gold accents and nanako background.
