Item #: BQ3419 -- A Named Korean / Cold War Period U.S. M1 Rear Seam Lieutenant Colonel's Helmet -- $250.00

This named Korean / Cold War U.S.M1 pattern rear seam Lt. Colonel's Helmet is an untouched "as found" example. The pot has a rear seam, swivel bales and a fine original chin strap. The paint is in excellent used condition with a hand painted rank insignia at the front. The WW2 period liner carries the circle with W mould mark of Westinghouse manufacturing and the exterior displays a period repaint in dark green. The inside edge is hand painted in white with the officer's name, "Donald Henderson RA16516928." Two of the web suspension straps are broken and the liner's chinstrap is missing. An excellent example that would be interesting to research.
