Item #: BQ3328 -- A 19th Century Mexican "Espada Ancha" Short Sword -- $250.00
An untouched 19th century short sword reputedly brought out of Mexico in the 1950's. The blade with evenly distributed light brown rust, reshaped through use. Simple iron mounts, the guard with finger loop and period shortened reverse crossguard; strong with no movement. The hardwood handle displays a fine use patina. An honest weapon that likely saw use during the Mexican Revolution. Lacking the scabbard. 64 cm. overall.
