Item #: BQ3039 -- A U.S. WWII Period Home Front Theater-made Knife with Original Sheath, Named -- $250.00

An excellent untouched hand-made example with long clip-point Bowie-style blade. The mounts are of aluminum and the handle is of stacked leather, aluminum and composition. The original leather sheath is very well made and fits the blade properly; the closure strap has been lost. The obverse stamped, "R.L. SMYTH," and the reverse is ink-stamped, "R.S8790." Overall excellent original condition. 34.2 cm. overall in sheath.
