This handsome pair was collected by the previous owner in South America in the 1960's. Constructed in tubular formed leather with brass mounts and interior copper sleeve liners. In addition to decorative brass border scalloping each stirrup incorporates multiple lion head designs. They are in excellent period used condition with minor scuffs and abrasions. The original leather belts with iron buckles are present at the base of each stirrup. A very unusual and distinctive pair that display beautifully. 20.4 cm. overall each.
