Item #: BQ2682 -- A Mid-20th C. Mexican Eagle Head Saddle Sword with Original Sheath -- $500.00

A fine Mexican short saddle sword with its scarce original colored pitado (cactus fiber) decorated leather scabbard. The sword has a hand forged blade of leaf shape with cow horn handle in the form of an Eagle head, with unclear maker's marks. The multi-piece leather sheath displays a fine age patina. This item is in fine original condition with a few lost stitches at the base of the sheath. 69 cm. overall in sheath.
