Brass mounted reverse P hilt with grooved wooden grip, lacking the leather cover, and curved blade. The scarce original scabbard is present, the leather broken clean through near the toe and missing the frog stud. See Harold L. Peterson, “The American Sword 1775-1945”, #38 for similar example. Good untouched condition with dark spotting and minor rust near tip of blade. 91 cm. overall in scabbard, blade 78 cm.
