A mid-20th century kukri in its original brown leather scabbard. The grip of horn, without central ring, with iron bolster, brass pommel cap, bands and rivet bushings. The blade well-formed, tin chirra, with narrow fuller and deeply cut cho. The sheath tooled at the front with linear and geometric patterns and tightly stitched at the rear, with accommodation for karda, chakmak and tinder pouch, all absent. Overall GC; the grip age-cracked, minor damage to the top of the pommel cap, blade dark and smoothly patinated, the sheath with an old nail hole, minor bug damage, small losses to the leather and missing the strap. Blade 31 cm., overall in sheath 43 cm.
