A Nepalese Gurkha kukri. Two-piece hardwood grip, without bolsters, with steel pommel cap. Full-tang blade with single fuller, stamped at the obverse forte "INDIA" and the reverse with "WSC" (Windlass Steel Crafts, an Indian Government Contractor) beneath a broad arrow mark. In its leather sheath with belt loop and brass chape. Overall VG; the blade very clean, without pitting or rust, with a light coat of cosmolene present. The sheath with a couple of small tears to the reverse in the vicinity of the bi-knife pocket, which still contains one of the two bi-knife implements. The surface of the sheath pockmarked with tiny bore-holes, perhaps from a tiny insect, otherwise GC. Blade 30.5 cm., overall in sheath 44.2 cm.
