Item #: 1002-340 -- A Nepalese Kukri -- $250.00
A Nepalese kukri, mid-20th century in its leather sheath. Reeded hardwood grip with two rings and artfully engraved brass bolsters and pommel cap. Long blade with single fuller and shallow cho. The scabbard with two bi-knives and belt loop. Overall GC; the kukri VG, very bright and clean, the belt loop on the sheath a later addition or repair. The bi-knives (karda and chakmak) are frozen in their pocket -- they will probably come out with some force, but I have not attempted this. The scabbard lightly worn, the tip and throat slightly distressed, some slight tearing evident at the rear where the belt loop attaches. Blade 35.2 cm., overall in sheath 50.5 cm.
