A Moro fighting sondang with broad blade, very sharp, wavy at the forte graduating to a straight demeanor at the midsection, with deeply chiseled dapur and piercing at the forte, detailed filework at the edges, white metal baca baca and broad fuller falling within the straight segment of the blade, which is further adorned with incised lines and arabesques, inlaid in bronze. The pistol type grip with octagonal pommel incorporating engraved mother-of-pearl panels (three lacking). The grip bound with dark and pigmented cord and white metal ferrule. A good, hard blade showing lamination, forging flaws and hardened edges. Should show a pattern if properly treated. GC; with wear to the grip, lacking the scabbard. Blade 57.2 cm., overall 70.8 cm.
