A Nepalese kukri, probably 19th century, with one piece wooden grip with copper brass bolster, the latter with crosshatched décor. The blade relatively slender with two narrow fullers, the cho with strong forward cusp. Broad edge grind. In its original leather covered wooden sheath with brass mounts, containing both bi-knives, presently stuck in their respective holes at the rear of the sheath. Could certainly be removed with a little effort. Overall GC; the blade mottled use-worn, the hilt missing the pommel cap. The sheath and grip with a very pleasant age patina.. Blade 32 cm, overall in sheath 47.2 cm.
