A decorative Nepalese kukri, ca. last quarter 20th century, in its fancy black leather covered wooden sheath with brass mounts. The front of the sheath decorated with brass brads, coins, a cast brass dragon and a crest inscribed "NEPAL." The sheath with frog consisting of a single wide suspension loop and a single remaining bi-knife. The kukri with polished horn handle with polished brass mounts, the blade basically dui chirra, heavily engraved and punched with designs on both sides. Overall GC; the blade bright, the scabbard fitting snugly due to shrinkage. Overall in sheath approx. 44 cm.
