A Gurkha regimental military kukri, inscribed at the reverse forte "TO BILL UNSOELD / FROM GURDIAL SINGH, / DOON SCHOOL." The blade and mounts nickel plated, the blade with two narrow fullers and broad bevel at the edge, with well formed cho. In its original leather covered wooden sheath. Overall fair to good condition; some rust and lifting of plating to the blade and mounts, the wooden grip with age cracking. The sheath dry, flaking and with considerable leather loss. An interesting and researcheable example. Blade about 30.5 cm., overall in sheath 45 cm.
