This early 19th C. U.S brass mounted eagle head sword has a straight single-edge double-etched blade marked, "Warranted." The back strap has an old repaired break and the bone grip has some loss that has been filled that could be improved. The crossguard is in Rococo style. The brass scabbard is original with remnants of silver plating with good engraving that includes the break neck eagle of the period. The center of the scabbard has a copper band repair and the throat piece is missing. 90cm. overall.
