An outstanding rare Edo, Genroku period ca. 1700, Japanese iron Heianjo Zogan Dai-Sho matched pair of tsuba with wonderful brass inlay and fine sukashi design. The twisted brass wire inlay is totally intact and each tsuba is textured with Amida yasuri (Buddha's Aura). This style tsuba is often associated with the work of Soshu province and would be a beautiful addition in mounting a fine pair of swords. .Dai- 8.2cm. H, Sho- 7.6cm. H.
