# BQ1538 - Imperial German Hunting “Hirschfanger” Dagger ca. 1900 - $ 840.00

Blade maker-marked with a ‘Z’ within a crowned shield (Clemen & Jung); triple etched with floral designs, crossed arms and images of wild game. Blade surface is age darkened with light scratches and a couple of very tiny edge nicks. Excellent fittings and scabbard, horn grip with no cracks. The scabbard leather at mouth has shrunk and the last 2.2 cm. of blade will not insert. Side knife is lacking. 51.4 cm. overall with scabbard, blade 35.3 cm.
