# GB4 - A German WWII Period M1884/98 Combat Bayonet - $ 200.00

Composite grips, scabbard and blade both numbered “5813”, and both stamped “C V L” and with a zigzag stamp. Blade stamped to the spine “40”, and scabbard also dated “1940”. Gverall GC; very little blue remaining to blade, mostly restricted to the fuller. Blade dirty, needs cleaning. Surface dirt and/or minor oxidation to hilt. Should clean well. Scabbard with perhaps 40% blue remaining, with several shallow diagonal dents to the obverse.
