# NDB2 - A German M98 Dress Bayonet - $ 325.00

A German M98 short pattern dress bayonet with staghorn grips and chrome plated blade and mounts, in its black painted steel scabbard with leather frog. Blade stamped with WKC and knight’s head logo. Overall GC/VG; minor flaking to the chrome in the grip area and one small area on the crossguard. Slight wiggle to the handle. Slightly worn area of the black frog finish seems to have been touched up in period with brown rather than black polish. Scabbard paint very good and original, with a small bit of loss to the finish of the ball tip. Blade very crisp. Blade 19 cm., overall in sheath 35.3 cm.
