# 1002-322 - A Large Nepalese Kukri in its Leather Sheath with Hangers, 1970's Vintage - $ 75.00

A Nepalese kukri of large proportion with full-tang blade. The handle with two-piece wooden grips with brass bolster and pommel, the wooden ring flanked by two additional brass bands, riveted through the tang. The blade with uncommon slightly upturned tip and single fuller, narrow waist and rudimentary cho, stamped with broad arrow and "INDIA / 1915." In its original leather scabbard with brass chape and laced leather hanging arrangement. Overall VG; blade with suprerficial rust marking, blade and sheath need minor cleaning/polishing. Blade 34 cm., overall in sheath 54.5 cm.
