# 1002-319 - A Central African Thrusting Spear - $ 195.00

A Central African spear with long, handforged, offset, socketed blade, slightly flared and pierced at the base, on a wooden haft with bulbous central grip and iron bindings. Fragments of woven fabric exist within the socket. A good, old spear, showing fine patina and wear patterns from extensive use. GC; missing the lower end of the haft (an old break). An old collection number is present on the blade (6790.5). Overall 132 cm., blade 53.7 cm. not incl. socket.
