# NAD6 - A Good North African Dagger with Fine Tooled Sheath - $ 195.00

A good North African dagger in its original finely tooled leather sheath. The H-form wooden grip completely covered in stitched leather, with two leather ferrules. The very sharp blade of hand-forged leaf form with spatulate tip, central ridge and beveled edges. The sheath tightly stitched in three segments, separated by twisted leather bands. The central segment tooled overall with a crosshatched and ladder patterns. Overall fine original untouched condition; the blade areas of active rust and slight corrosion, the leather portions with mild scuffs and age wear; some flaking to the surface of the upper segment of the sheath. This scabbard would be outstanding if properly conserved. Overall in sheath 35.5 cm., blade 24.7 cm.
