# BQ3208 - A WWI 1915 Dated Imperial Prussian Pickelhaube - $ 625.00

This Prussian pickelhaube is untouched and came to us along with BQ3207 in a WWI U.S. first division soldier's trunk. It has the correct field gray painted steel fittings and crest plate and fine black leather liner. The chin strap and cockades are no longer present. Excellent overall condition with the leather shell displaying minor use scuffs and a fine age patina. An excellent addition to a pickelhaube collection. Maker stamped and dated inside crown, "Julius Jansen, Strassburg, 1915" and another round stamp that is, in part, "AkT. 1917 GICA." Size 53.
