# BQ3207 - A Scarce Ersatz WWI, 1914-1916, Rabbit Felt Imperial Prussian Pickelhaube - $ 600.00

This Prussian Pickelhaube is untouched and came to us along with BQ3208 in a WWI U.S. first division soldier's trunk. It has the correct field gray painted steel fittings and crest plate and fine black leather liner. The chin strap and cockades are lacking. Excellent overall condition with the felt displaying a small edge tear at the side and age deformation. The front visor steel edge requires adjustment and the shell will need professional blocking. This would be a rare addition to a pickelhaube collection. Approx. size 7.
