# BQ2982 - An Unusual Vietnam War Period Theater Made U.S. Fighting Knife - $ 375.00

A robust knife made from an altered bayonet blade with stacked colorful Plexiglas handle, brass crossguard and turned aluminum pommel. The sheath is very heavy and was fashioned from 1/4” cartridge brass with brown belt leather hanger and securing strap with canteen snaps. Soldered to the front of the scabbard is a U.S. Army Expert Marksman badge; the reverse is stamped "J EG." Excellent period used condition. 39.8 cm. overall on scabbard, 18.6 cm. blade.
