# BQ2884 - An Original 19th Century G.A.R. (Grand Army of the Republic) Cast Iron and Bronze Paper Weight - $ 120.00

This heavy cast iron desk piece is unusual as the GAR with wreath insignia is applied in separate cast brass to the surface instead of the standard type where the crest was cast in iron as part of the hat. Very good original aged condition with light surface rust to the iron. 10.2 cm. L.
