# BQ2881 - An Early 19th Century American Army Officer's Dress Waist Belt - $ 420.00

An interesting belt with fine gilt brass open buckle and fittings that include the U.S. shield with eagle. The belt is of black leather with blue velvet and gold ribbon tape. Two swivel snaps appear to be later additions; some elements may be lost. Good period condition with some separation and losses of belt material. An excellent restoration project. 113 cm. overall.
