# BQ2843 - An Edo Period Japanese Yari Point - $ 390.00

Click here for fax-in order form

An Edo period Japanese hand-forged spear point with a period shortened nakago, now mumei. Flattened triangular section with a single fuller (hi) on its wide side. The blade has no visible kizu and is currently in old foundation stone polish with an evident medium sugaha hamon, often seen in this type of blade. This yari would produce a wonderful yari-tanto if that style of mounts were desired. The condition is very good with minor surface rust stains on the blade. 23.1 cm. overall., 13 cm. blade nagasa.
