# BQ2778 - A Scarce Imperial Prussian M1852 Artillery Train Battalion Sword - $ 850.00

A rarely encountered sword for and Imperial Warrant Officer of a Train Battalion. Nickel plated basket with blackened sharkskin grip cover. The double etched blade without visible makers marks. The engraving includes German text translating to, "In memory of my service" and "Hannov. Train Batallon No.10." Very good original condition with minor loss of plating to the hilt mounts and moderate paint loss, rust and scratches to a dent free scabbard. The leather finger loop at base of grip broken and no longer present. The guard is stamped with Reg. Property numbers, "T.B.10 194. 96.5 cm. overall in scabbard
