# BQ2754 - An Early 20th Century Kuba Tribe (Belgian Congo) Carved Wood Covered Box - $ 420.00

This fine early carved wood box with matching cover is decorated with incised geometric designs. Very good original period condition with attractive age patina and remnants of red dye to interior surfaces. Displays a small period loss of wood along outer edge of lid. Acquired through a Scottsdale gallery in the 1990's. Includes an information card that states the item is "ex-Wylly collection." 17 cm. H.
