# BQ2625 - An Early 20th Century Philippine Christian Talibon - $ 330.00

Fine early 20th C. talibon with hand forged blade and excellent handcarved wood mounts with raffia cord and later WWII period wire supports. The sheath is carved with "PHILIPPINES 10.20.44 LEYTE", the date of the U.S. landing. Retains remnants of paper labels. Excellent untouched original condition, slight loss along top edge of sheath. 48.5cm. overall in sheath.
