# BQ2624 - A Very Rare Edo Period Ainu Side Knife - $ 960.00

Ca. 1750, with crudely handforged blade with chiseled edge that is ubu and has one ana. The original handcarved and textured wood mounts display incised patterns and are bound with cherry bark support bands. Good condition with losses to the mounts and the interesting later addition of a Japanese iron single ring sword hanger. 43cm. overall in mounts.
