# BQ2540 - A Fine Koto Period Kiyonori Wakizashi in Shirasaya - $ 2400.00

This blade includes its original shirasaya with wooden habaki. The nakago is ubu, one hole, and may be slightly machi okuri. It is signed, "Bizen Kuni Yoshii ju Fujiwara Kiyonori Saku", and appears to be dated Eikyo 4 (1433 AD). The hamon is ko-gunome with narrow yakiba This maker is listed as Chusaku in the Koto vol. of Fujishiro, p. 456. The old polish is excellent and the blade is healthy. The shirasaya has an old paper collector's label and inked kanji signature. 43.9 cm. blade nagasa.
