# BQ2404 - Fine Gold Mounted 19th Century Mediterranean Dagger - $ 1800.00

An outstanding work. The steel blade in stiletto form with single cutting edge. The bone handle scales masterfully carved in Rococo style with floral and shell patterns. The mounts appear to be of solid high karat gold with exquisite engraving. The leather sheath with its original gold chape, but lacking the locket, otherwise excellent condition. The blade displays handsome dark age oxidization and the entire dagger has a fine untouched patina. 29.5 cm. overall in sheath 17.5 cm. blade.
