# BQ2228 - An Excellent Original Chinese Tang Dynasty Pottery Figure, ca. 600-900 A.D. - $ 600.00

A painted pottery mortuary/tomb figure of a horse groom. Hollow moulded figure with with three added apertures near the hands for the attachment of accoutrements. Partial ivory colored surface glaze with remnants of black, green and reddish-brown pigment. Great form and original surface patina with no restoration. 22.3 cm. tall.
