#GLD1 - Excavated German Landsknecht's Dagger, ca. 1550-1600 - $1250.00

A good excavated German landsknecht's dagger with 12 3/4" blade of flattened diamond section. Short, slightly down-curved quillons with chiseled fig-shaped finials and incised pairs of angular lines to the sides, with later wire-wrapped grip terminated with Turks' heads. Overall fine excavated condition, with good, dark rust patina and plenty of character.
