#BQ639 - Oriental Stetite Seal, Sage on Rock - $145.00

A small statuette of carved red and beige marble in the form of an old bearded sage perched upon a precipice. He is smiling contentedly, and holding an elongated object in his arm - a scroll or rolled up blanket, perhaps? Unfinished, as there is no carved seal to the bottom. Beautifully executed, standing 4 ¾" tall, 1 3/16" wide. Early 20th century.
