#BQ362 - African Carved Fertility Figure, Guro - $785.00

Guro tribe. Carved in hardwood, possibly oak. From the Guro of the Ivory Coast. Small abrasions/scrapes to back, small wood loss at chin, missing left big toe and slight rubbing to right thumb. Old felt beneath feet with #118. From Malkin Collection, collected in 1940s. Malkin was a well-known collector of primitive art from the New York City area. 29 1/2" tall x 8" wide x 6" deep.
