This sword was made when Sukenaga was 26 years old, and was signed by him rather than by a professional calligrapher. A prime example of his early work in near pristine condition and original polish. Temper line is ko-gomone choji style, fine woodgrain hada. In its original shirasaya and with original habaki. Purchased from Murakami Museum in Murakami, Japan. A prime collectible item with no flaws of any kind. Ubu 1-hole, 15 5/16” nagasa.
