# BQ1648 - Persian Military Sword - $ 240.00

Based upon the Russian 1881 pattern saber, this sword has a solid cast brass handle. We believe this is either a military ceremonial item or a copy of a military pattern. The blade is stamped at the ricasso with a K within a circle and several Farsi characters. Without scabbard. This sword was allegedly purchased by former owners from Bannerman's in the 1920's-30's. This item along with BQ1647 are a matched pair. 94.8 cm. overall.
